Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
